Logline

The first-year students of an elitist religious school are attending a "faith and integration" camp outside Mexico City. What begins as a tranquil retreat soon becomes dangerous when a mysterious hole is found in the perimeter fence.

Joaquín Del Paso

Director, Co-Screenwriter

Joaquín del Paso attended the Polish National Film School (Łódź) and the International Film School (Cuba). He has participated in Berlinale Talents and IFF Rotterdam Producers lab. Joaquín is a founder of Amondo Films, a collective based in Warsaw, Delhi and Mexico. His award-winning first feature MAQUINARIA PANAMERICANA premiered at Berlinale Forum 2016.

Fernanda De La Peza

Producer

Fernanda de la Peza has worked as an assistant director on many award-winning films, like Carlos Reygadas' SILENT LIGHT (Jury Prize, Cannes 2007), POST TENEBRAS LUX, (Best Director, Cannes 2012), and Amat Escalante’s HELI (Best Director, Cannes 2013). In 2016 Fernanda produced THE UNTAMED by Amat Escalante, (Silver Lion for Best Director, Venice Film Festival).

Lucy Pawlak

Lucy Pawlak studied Painting at The Royal College of Arts (London), Academic Training Graphic Design at the University of Bristol (United Kingdom), and Cinematography at the Łódź National Film School (Poland). She co-wrote MAQUINARIA PANAMERICANA and THE HOLE IN THE FENCE with Joaquín del Paso.

Alfonso Herrera

Director of Photography

Alfonso is a Mexican cinematographer currently living in NYC. Recent feature film credits include MAR DE FONDO, the newest film from Camera D'Or winner Michael Rowe, starring Academy Award nominee Demián Bichir ; EL HOYO EN LA CERCA, the second feature film from Joaquin del Paso ; as well as A STORMY NIGHT, the first work from Catalan filmmaker David Moragas.
He most recently received the László Kovács Golden Tadpole at the Camerimage film festival for his work on Max Walker Silverman's short film LEFTY/RIGHTY.

Composer

Richard Vreeland is an American composer and musician. He first got started in music after learning the guitar in high school and started writing music around the age of 17. Known for his work as a chiptune artist, Vreeland stepped into film score composition with the 2015 film IT FOLLOWS (premiere Sundance) then he composed the music for UNDER THE SILVER LAKE (premiere Cannes 2018).
