NEDA ARMIAN is a multiple award winning film producer with a varied roster of projects. Her company, Armian Pictures, produces feature films, documentaries, television and digital content.
She is currently in post-production on Laura Terruso’s (Hello My Name is Doris) film, FITS AND STARTS with Wyatt Cenac, Greta Lee and Maria Dizzia. Her last project SHE’S THE BEST THING IN IT is the documentary about legendary actress Mary Louise Wilson directed by Ron Nyswaner. The film premiered at SXSW in 2015 and will be distributed by Amplify Releasing in February 2016.
She produced THE LONGEST WEEK with writer/director Peter Glanz starring Jason Bateman, Olivia Wilde, Billy Crudup and Jenny Slate and was released by Gravitas Ventures in the fall of 2014. UNION SQUARE with writer/director Nancy Savoca stars Mira Sorvino and Tammy Blanchard was released in the Summer of 2012. The film debuted at the 2011 Toronto film festival.
WHY STOP NOW written and directed by Ron Nyswaner and Phil Dorling stars Jesse Eisenberg, Tracy Morgan and Melissa Leo and was released by IFC Films in the Summer of 2012. The film premiered at Sundance 2012.
She was the supervising producer on HBO documentary THE LOVING STORY which premiered in February 2012. The film was short listed for an Oscar and won an Emmy and Peabody award for Best Documentary.
In 2011 Armian Pictures launched AMC’s new digital studios with the web series THE TRIVIAL PURSUITS OF ARTHUR BANKS with Adam Goldberg and Jeffrey Tambor. She served as Executive Producer on the webby nominated series.
She produced RACHEL GETTING MARRIED for Sony Pictures Classics, written by Jenny Lumet and directed by Jonathan Demme. The film premiered at the Venice and Toronto film festivals in 2008 and was nominated for six Independent Spirit Awards as well as an Oscar for Anne Hathaway for Best Actress.
