The Yes Men Bring Us Action Switchboard

The Toronto International Film Festival Docs section was announced today and we're happy to see that the latest film by activists The Yes Men made the cut and will be having its world premiere there. But for this film the guys are going a step further in their crusade to save the world.

The Yes Men Are Revolting focuses on Mike Bonanno and Andy Bichlbaum (The Yes Men) taking on their biggest challenge yet: climate change. And by the film's end they hope everyone watching will be inspired to make a difference, but this time they've created a system that will hopefully turn that mindset for change into actual action.

The Action Switchboard, supported through the TFI New Media Fund, is a digital platform that allows anyone to initiate and join direct actions to hold corporations and governments accountable for environmental abuses; it also provides in-depth training and resources to help put important issues into the national spotlight.
