TFI Shorts: What's On Your Plate?

Tribeca Teaches brings the art of filmmaking into New York City classrooms. This year's program theme is "Change." Over the next few weeks, we'll be highlighting the ten short films produced by this year's students, including classes from our newest partner school, MS 131 in Manhattan's Chinatown.

Junk food may be tasty and cheap, but it's not good for your health and can lead to complications like obesity and diabetes. Bronx Prep students address this problem in the short documentary film What's On Your Plate?, which deals with how to get local children to eat better and exercise more.
