TFI Shorts: The Color of Peace

Tribeca Teaches brings the art of filmmaking into New York City classrooms. This year's program theme is "Change." Over the next few weeks, we'll be highlighting the ten short films produced by this year's students, including classes from our newest partner school, MS 131 in Manhattan's Chinatown.

Dance troupes can offer a way for young people to avoid and even combat gang violence in their community. The Color of Peace, created by the students of CAMBA in Brooklyn, looks at some of the reasons kids join gangs in the first place, as well as the titular group and their goal of combating gang violence.
