From the organization The Working Group, an Oakland-based non-profit that focuses on issues surrounding the workplace, this chapter of their award-winning We Do The Work series, Ties That Bind, looks at a two organizations that are trying to get union representation and ultimately ending in very different results.

Directed by The Working Group founder, Patrice O'Neill, the We Do The Work series has aired on PBS and its in-depth look at workplace-related issues has been regarded as "a stroke of television genius" by the San Francisco Examiner.
