AIDS JaaGO (meaning AIDS Awake) features four short films by Indian filmmakers who made compelling stories that dismantle myths and misconceptions about HIV/AIDS.
Mira Nair's Mirabai Films led the initiative along with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The films (directed by Nair, Farhan Akhtar, Vishal Bharadwaj and Santosh Sivan) were all shot in India and mixes comedy, social issues and provocative subjects in the hopes to spread awareness on the virus to their fellow Indians.
