4 TFI Alumni Receive Emmy Nominations

Nominations for the 35th Annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards were announced today and we're so happy to see 4(!) projects we've supported getting nods.

Hollow: An Interactive Documentary by Elaine McMillion Sheldon, which looks at residents in West Virginia county who are on the brink of extinction, received a nomination in the New Approaches: Documentaries category. (TFI New Media Fund alum)

Herman's House, nominated for Outstanding Arts and Culture Programming, is directed by Angad Singh Bhalla and examines the relationship between Herman Wallace—the longest-serving prisoner in solitary confinement in US history—and artist Jackie Sumell. (Tribeca All Access alum)
