Jinho "The Piper" Ferreira was raised in Oakland, CA. He is a member of Interscope Records/ Konvict Music recording group Flipsyde, which has toured internationally and domestically with artists such as Snopp Dogg, The Pussy Cat Dolls, The Black Eyed Peas, The Game and Busta Rhymes. The band recently filmed a video for Champion, which was uswed for AT&T's 2008 Summer Olymics campaign Ferreira is the founder of A.R.M.E.D (Always Ready, Mentally Equipped and Disciplined) at Berkeley Technology Academy, a life-planning and self-defense program that teaches disadvantaged youth the power of discipline and setting goals. Ferreira attended Eastern Illinois University on a football scholarship and later graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Black Studies.
