His passion for people, justice, and compelling narratives drive his goal to provide a nuanced platform for unheard or poorly represented subjects, exploring trauma, loss, identity and relationships in his film and photography projects. Nehad Khader is a filmmaker, curator, and editor. She is senior program manager of Philly’s BlackStar Film Festival and was founding curator of DC’s Palestinian Film & Arts Festival for six years. In addition to directing UNBOWED, she is producing two films about Islamophobia by director David Felix Sutcliffe ((T)ERROR).
Associate Producer
Noura Erakat is a human rights attorney, activist, and an assistant professor at George Mason University. Most recently, she released a pedagogical project on the Gaza Strip and Palestine, its centerpiece a short multimedia documentary, GAZA IN CONTEXT. She is also the producer of the short video BLACK PALESTINIAN SOLIDARITY.
