TFI Network 2017
follows the journey of five citizens from Hyderabad, India, who work toward a sustainable balance between urbanization and the natural ecosystem. Using birds as a focal point, this documentary contrasts development and preservation of nature in the age of globalization by studying urbanization’s impact on the environment.
DIRECTOR, PRODUCER
Waghray has an extensive background in film and activism. In 2012, she directed/produced Sleepovers, a coming of age documentary. Waghray is a 2014 recipient of Kartemquin Films’ Diverse Voices in Docs fellowship. Waghray served on boards aiming to end domestic violence in the South Asian community in Milwaukee and NY.

Arpke is a Wisconsin native and alum of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Film program. In Milwaukee he plays a variety of roles on film & video productions across a myriad of platforms. His freelance videography company, Silver City Productions, LLC, strives to capture human stories and explores marine conservation issues.
PRODUCTION MANAGER
Knap has contributed to a variety of films for half a decade in the production department. She continues to strive in exploring various cultural backgrounds through film. In between working on TV productions in Chicago, current projects include producing documentaries on marine conservation and sexual assault in the Hmong culture.
