Hnin Ei Hlaing (Snow)
Director
Snow studied at the Yangon Film School and the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg (Germany). Since 2006, when the country was under military regime, she worked as director, producer, editor and sound recordist.
Ulla Lehmann
Producer
Ulla previously worked with Snow on MYANMARKET, shot in Myanmar in 2015. They gained mutual trust which they now bring to Snow’s MIDWIVES.
Mila Aung-Thwin
Producer
Aung-Thwin is a director/producer and co-founder of Canadian production company EyeSteelFilm (UP THE YANGTZE, LAST TRAIN HOME). He is also half-Burmese, and spent many years teaching filmmaking in Myanmar.
