Kate Tsang

Kate Tsang was born in the Bay Area and raised between Hong Kong and the U.S. Her live-action short film SO YOU’VE GROWN ATTACHED was nominated for a Student Academy Award, won Best Narrative Short at San Francisco International Film Festival, and received awards from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and the National Board of Review. Her darkly comedic and whimsical work has amassed over a million views online and was featured on PBS. She’s the co-creator of the popular animated short, WELCOME TO DOOZY (Sony Animation/Frederator) and currently is a writer at Cartoon Network. Kate also produces work as Bloodtoast, a magician who summons her mother’s spirit from hell to help with simple card tricks.
Carolyn Mao
Producer
Carolyn Mao is a creative producer based in Los Angeles. She was a producing fellow for Film Independent’s 2015 Producing Lab and also participated in Film Independent’s 2016 Fast Track with YOU AND ME BOTH. The independent pilot she produced by creator/writer, Naomi Ko, and directed by Andrew Ahn (SPA NIGHT) will be premiering at Tribeca Film Festival. Her first feature GOOD ENOUGH premiered at Boston International Film Festival where it won the Indie Spirit Best Actress Award. She also produced the short film, SAENG-IL, by writer/director Jennifer Suhr, which won the Gen Art Audience award.
