Director
Writer/Director Phil Roc is a native New Yorker by way of Haitian immigrant parents. He graduated from The New York Institute of Technology with a degree in Communication Arts and has directed and produced for VH-1, MSNBC, and The Ford Motor Company. Roc has also directed music videos for American and International artists, including projects for acclaimed music producer Dallas Austin. In 2003, Roc co-wrote, co-produced, and directed the short "AVENUE X", in collaboration with screenwriter Aaron F. Schnore. In that same year, Roc and Schnore also co-wrote "CRAZY IN HEAVEN", an urban teen drama that earned Finalist status in the Final Draft Big Break Competition and the prestigious Sundance Screenwriter's Lab. The Oscar-winning producer Jim Czarnecki (BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE, LOVE LIZA) is attached to produce the project in 2004.
Producer
As president of Five Days Entertainment, Annemarie Curry focuses on the financing and distribution of feature films intended for theatrical release. She was Executive Producer on three films; Intoxicating, starring Kirk Harris, Eric Roberts and John Savage is in post-production. The drama Hard Luck and the thriller My Sweet Killer were released theatrically and on video. Before joining Five Days, Curry worked as a financial analyst, received her MBA from California State University, and built and managed a successful executive recruiting company.
Producer
Anthony Naples is managing director of Five Days Entertainment, bringing an extensive database of contacts and over twelve years of experience in the creative, performance and business aspects of the entertainment industry. He is a theater-trained performer, actor and musician. By the time he earned his B.A. from Temple University Film School, Naples had already established himself by working with Fox Television and NBC Studios. Mr. Naples has worked with Weller/Grossman Productions, HG TV, USA Network, among others.
Executive Producer
Robert M. Young, one of our foremost independent filmmakers, has an award-wining body of work that includes documentaries and features films, including Nothing But A Man and Caught. Mr. Young’s awards include Cannes’ Camera d’Or an Emmy, a Peabody and an Academy Award Nomination for Children Of Fate, which won the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance. Mr. Young has also been awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship and has received San Sebastian’s Golden Concha for Best Film, Cuba’s Golden Coral for Best Film, Venice’s Primo San Georgio, The City of Venice Prize and two George Polk Memorial Awards for Journalism. Mr. Young’s most recent feature, Below The Belt, premiered at Sundance in January to rave reviews.
