A group of friends with Down’s syndrome must face a new stage in life. They still go to school but they are not children anymore. They are growing old and nobody prepared them. Parents die, they are left alone, and they suffer diseases of the elderly, as Alzheimer’s.
Maite Alberdi is part of the new voices of the Latin American documentary world. She has developed a very particular style that achieves an intimate portrayal of the characters she works with, through everyday stories in small-scale worlds. Clara studied literature in UBA, Argentina and a Master in Audiovisual Writing for Documentary at the Universidad Católica, Chile. Since 2009 she has worked as producer of Tea Time and Children, both directed by Maite Alberdi.
