Director, Executive Producer
Havin started her career in the fashion industry as a garment industry salesgirl, Bethann Hardison has since walked the most famous catwalks around the world and worked with some of the most prominent designers. She founded her own agency, where she launched an managed the careers of supermodels such as Naomi Campbell, Veronica Webb, and Tyson Beckford, and also founded the Black Girls Coalition with her friend, Iman.
Director
Jeff Zimbalist directed, shot, edited, and produced Favela Rising, which was shortlisted for the Academy Award for Best Feature Length Documentary in 2005. Favela Rising won 36 international awards, including Film of the Year by the Internatiional Documentary Association, Best Film at the Sydney International Film Festival, and Leeds International Film Festival. Currently he is developing a narrative feature he wrote and will direct with his brother, Michael Zimbalist, directing and producing a short documentary for HBO, and directing a series fro Black Entertainment Television. A graduate of Brown University, Zimbalist is the founder of All Rise LLC, and teaches at the New York Film Academy and the Maine Photographic Workshops.
