Flatbush! Flatbush! is the story of a fleet of minibuses, or “dollar vans,” that race up and down Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, providing commuters a familiar, if not occasionally harrowing, alternative to the subway for only $2 a ride.

Director
Alex lives in Brooklyn, NY. He has directed numerous short films that have played in festivals around the world, broadcast, as well as online on Vimeo Staff Pics and The Atlantic. Recently, he directed the tv doc series AMERICAN BOYBAND for Viceland. He has an MFA in Integrated Media Arts from Hunter College (CUNY) and am active member of the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective and the Meerkat Media Collective.
