A mother’s desperate attempt to save her young daughter from an arranged marriage turns into an epic road trip crossing many physical and cultural boundaries in present day Pakistan. Formerly titled Neither the Veil, Nor the Four Walls.

Born in Pakistan, Afia Nathaniel studied at the Kinnaird College for Women and the Lahore University of Management before moving to New York to work on her M.F.A. in film production at Columbia University. In 2002 she wrote the short film which received Honorable Mention at the Black Maria Film Festival, won best student film at the Ivy Film Festival, and won the Audience Choice Award at the Asia-Expo Lyon Film Festival, among other honors. Nathanial directed the short Nadah, wrote and directed the short Toba Tek Singh, and co-wrote the feature Chasing Windmills. Her next project will be the narrative short Long After the Marigolds Die, which will star two of India's finest actors, Naseerudin Shah and Jaya Bachchan.

Andeep Singh is a Film & Television Producer in the U.S. and Canada. She is currently producing a webseries for The National Post. Andeep lives in the little town of Bethlehem, PA with her husband & daughter.
