Director
Van M. Pham graduated from the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication at Washington State University with a BA in TV Broadcast Productions, and received his MFA in Film and Television from Chapman University, with emphasis in Film Directing. As winner of the ABC-Komo4 Fisher's Broadcasting Scholarship, Van went abroad to study film and production at the University of Wales, Aberyswyth, where he produced a short documentary, A Different Corner, which was screened and honored at numerous film festivals. Pham has also directed music videos and commercials, and is the Program Director at VHN-TV, a new 24-hour Vietnamese network on DirectTV.
Writer
Erik graduated from Chapman University's MFA screenwriting program and has been mentored by several leading professionals in both the Film and TV industries. The list includes TV writer/producer Ross Brown (Step By Step), writer/producer Patricia K. Meyer (The Woman of Brewster Place) and prolific Hong Kong Director Che Kirk Wong (The Big Hit, Jackie Chan's Crime Story). Beyond the Mat is Erik's twelfth screenplay.
Producer
Kase graduated from UCSD with a degree in bioengineering but decided not to go to medical school after an internship with MTV. He quickly worked his way up to producing and has worked on shows for three major networks: ABC, CBS, and NBC.
