Director/Producer
James started out as a filmmaker winning a Student Academy Award for PORTRAIT OF BOY WITH DOG. Since then, James has gone on to direct several documentaries, including two Oscar-nominated documentaries: IRAQ IN FRAGMENTS and SARI’S MOTHER.
Producer
Basil is a producer whose documentary and narrative film credits include Academy Award nominated and Emmy winning films. He has a MA in Mental Health Counseling and a propensity for adventure.

Joslyn Barnes is a writer and producer. Barnes has executive produced or produced since co-founding Louverture Films with partners Danny Glover, Susan Rockefeller and Bertha Foundation, are TROUBLE THE WATER, BLACK POWER MIXTAPE 1967-1975, and CONCERNING VIOLENCE.
