Sarah Knight’s documentary, “Hot Flash,” debuted at the 2008 Bermuda Int’l Film Festival; she is in negotiations with The Documentary Channel for its broadcast premiere. It was presented at the 2007 IFP Market, as was her narrative feature, “A Yellow Raft in Blue Water” (Q’orianka Kilcher of “The New World” will star). That project was invited to the 2007 Film Independent Screenwriter’s Lab, and was a finalist for the 2007 & 2008 Sundance Labs. Her project “Shady Creek” (starring C.J. Sanders of “Ray”) is currently a second-round finalist for the Sundance Creative Producing Initiative. Short films include, “Qiana,” and, “Abstinence Make the Heart Grow Fonder.” She directs theatre in NYC and LA, including, “An Ideal Wife,” her adaptation of Wilde’s “An Ideal Husband.” Sarah attended the Berlinale Talent Campus and Rotterdam Cinemart Producer’s Program. She wrote a pilot for Oxygen Network. Sarah has assisted directors Taylor Hackford and Mikael Salomon.
