Established her production company The Imaginarium Films in 2010, with a vision to develop and produce globally appealing Arabic content. Nasser’s involvement in the film industry started in 1999, working on several productions for the BBC and Discovery channels, as well as the well-known Australian television series Survival. She later joined the Royal Film Commission of Jordan and worked with them for five years on their Filmmaker’s Support Program.
Having built this vast experience in various areas of production enabled Nasser to produce more than six feature films in the last four years, which has participated in several prestigious festivals around the world. was the first Jordanian film to screen at the Berlinale 2011, and Waiting for P.O. Box was in the official competition of the Cannes Short International Film Festival 2012. She was chosen by Variety magazine in 2012, as one of the top Ten Arab Producers to Watch.
In 2013 Rula produced My Love Awaits Me by the Sea by Mais Darwazah, which took part in over 30 film festivals including TIFF, CPHDOX and DIFF, in 2015 she released two films Al Medina for Omar Sharqawi and The Curve by Rifqi Assaf, also she lined produced many international & Regional films, the last film was with the Oscar nominated director Hany Abu Assad in his last feature Arab Idol 2015.
