Roberto Marinas has a BA in Film from the University of British Columbia and an M.F.A. in Playwriting from the Actors Studio Drama School at New School University. He is a 2003-2004 Dramatists Guild Playwriting Fellow where he mentored under veteran playwright and television writer Richard Dresser. He was short-listed for the 1996 Praxis Bi-Annual screenplay contest award. His one act play LOADER #26 has received readings at The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C, and Ensemble Studio Theatre and Second Stage in NYC. LOADER #26 premiered at the 2001 NYC International Fringe Festival.

Frank Lehman has terminal brain cancer. Forced into early retirement, this once powerful businessman dreads spending his last days shuffling around in pajamas waiting to die. Telling no-one, he flees suburban Connecticut and goes to a dive resort in Belize, a family vacation spot from happier times. Josh, the black sheep of the family is given the task of bringing his estranged father home before he dies.
