Lewis Payton, Jr. holds a Masters Degree in Screenwriting/ Directing from Columbia University. His short film Slowest Car in Town toured festivals worldwide and won numerous awards, including the Roger Corman Award at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival. He has worked with Michael Hausman, James Schamus, and Richard Brick and adapted and directed a stage reading for Walter Mosley's book Gone Fishin'. Payton has directed and produced an HBO/ Cinemax commercial and has produced several award-winning short films.
