About

Editor/Director/Writer/Actor Keith Davis is a fixture on the New York acting scene, recently appearing on Broadway in JULIUS CAESAR with Denzel Washington and Eamonn Walker and was featured in FESTEN (Broadway) opposite Julianna Margulies and Jeremy Sisto. A Yale School of Drama graduate his affiliations include The Steppenwolf Theater Co., The Drama Dept., The Public Theatre, New Dramatists, Cherry Lane Theatre, New York Theatre Workshop and The Women's Project among others.
In Television, he has made guest appearances on LAW & ORDER, THIRD WATCH, GUIDING LIGHT and LAW & ORDER: SVU. Additionally he has appeared in several feature and short films including MIDWAY, THE ARRANGEMENT, DE DOMINEE, and Sidney Lumet's latest project, BEFORE THE DEVIL KNOWS YOU’RE DEAD with Ethan Hawke and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
In 2006, Davis wrote/directed/edited the award winning short film, SURFACE OF THINGS, which has gone to screen at the Palm Springs Festival of Shorts, Chicago International Film Festival, and AFI Dallas to name a few.
Keith is also an accomplished editor, having worked on several acclaimed shorts: Stutter (Cinequest), Midway (American Black Film Festival), Surface of Things (Palm Springs), and Quincy and Althea (Hamptons). He also assisted JEFF LEVY-HINTE (When We Were Kings) at ANTIDOTE FILMS.
Keith holds an MFA from the Yale School of Drama and is an MFA Candidate at NYU's graduate film school.
Currently, Keith Davis is an adjunct professor at NYU’s TSOA undergraduate film and television program and is the editor of the feature documentary Evolution of a Criminal.
