Camille Vandenbunder is a French cultural producer and manager, based in Puerto Rico since 2010. She completed a Master's Degree in Production and Management of Cultural Events at Paris III - La Sorbonne Nouvelle.
Since 2011, she is the manager and programmer of the European Film Festival of the Alliance Française de PR, where she created a platform for education and audiovisual training for the Puerto Rican film industry. Within the framework of this Festival, it co-produces 6 Puerto Rican short films each year, presented in competition.
In recent years she has specialized in audiovisual production, through the production of educational videos, Primary Equity (2017), promotional videos such as: Europe is visiting (2017), Escape (2018) and video-art The Bodies (2015).
She also works as a consultant in distribution matters, international co- productions and audiovisual marketing strategies. She is currently the producer of the Puerto Rican fiction feature LA PECERA, by Glorimar Marrero Sánchez, produced by Canica LLC, which has just won the Best Unpublished Screenplay award at the Ibero American New Cinema Film Festival of Havana (2017) and Winner of Tribeca Film Institute Latin America Fund Grant (2018).
After Noelia discovers her cancer has metastasized she reluctantly returns to her hometown, the island of Vieques that has been contaminated through 60 years of military practices. While staying at her mother’s house and spending time with new and old friends, she gets to live in the self-determined way she needs.
