About

Bogdan Tomassini-Büchner was born in Goerlitz, Germany. He holds two Master’s degrees: the first in drama, German literature and economics, and the second in film production and media economics, for which he was Valedictorian and a three-time scholarship winner at the Munich University for Television and Film.  In 2004 he founded his first film production company, LeBog Film.  Over the past six years he has produced eight movies, which were invited to more than 60 film festivals.  He won the "New Talent Management Award" at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2007, and was nominated for the “First Steps Award” in 2008.  In that year he began working for Hofmann & Voges GmbH.  In April 2009, he became the head of Co-Production for Hofmann & Voges; and in September 2009, for the whole Odeon Film Inc.  Today, he oversees nearly 10-15 theatre-, TV- and co-productions per year.  He is also a specialist in European film funding and a close contact person for funding executives at the federal film boards and for line producers at TV broadcasters across Germany.
